Privacy Policy
Discretion is central to The Superior Circle. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit thesuperiorcircle.com (the “Site”) or request an invitation, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy, “The Superior Circle,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to The Superior Circle LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, which is responsible for your information.
1. The short version
- We collect only what we need to consider your request and to correspond with you.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with partners or sponsors for their own use.
- This Site does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social media pixels.
- We never publish the names of applicants or members.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request an invitation, we collect the details you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, city of residence, role and organization, a description of your work, the category that best describes you, a self-reported range of net worth, a LinkedIn profile or website, how you heard about us, the name of a member who knows you, and your communication preferences. If you write to us, we keep your correspondence.
Information from review
If you request an invitation, we may confirm your identity and review publicly available information about you, such as professional profiles, company records, news coverage and government sanctions lists. We may also note the views of members who know you. We do this solely to decide on your request and to protect the members of the Circle.
Verification information
We do not ask for financial documents to request an invitation. If you later choose to confirm a net worth threshold, we ask for a letter from an independent professional or a similar confirmation. We review it, record only the outcome (for example, the threshold confirmed and the date), and then delete the document.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the servers that host the Site automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. Our hosting provider uses this to deliver and secure the Site. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors. The Site does not set cookies for analytics or advertising.
3. How we use information
- To consider your request for an invitation, including review, conversation and decision.
- To correspond with you about your request and, if you have asked for them, to send occasional letters from the Circle.
- To administer membership if you are admitted.
- To keep the Site and our community secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (for visitors in the UK, EU and similar jurisdictions)
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: steps you ask us to take before entering into a membership relationship (considering your request); our legitimate interests in operating a safe, private and well-curated community (review and security), balanced against your rights; your consent (optional letters, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting, form processing, customer relationship management, email delivery and background or identity screening. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- The admissions council, a small group of members who help decide on requests and who are bound by confidentiality.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our members, us or others.
- Business transfers, if the Circle is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case your information remains subject to this policy’s protections.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in California law.
6. Retention
We keep request information while your request is being considered and, if you are not admitted, for up to 24 months after our decision so we can consider a future request, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Members’ information is kept for the duration of membership and a reasonable period afterwards. Verification documents are deleted after review.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and multi-factor authentication for staff systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will only ever write to you from an @thesuperiorcircle.com address and will never ask you for financial documents or passwords by email. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from us, please forward it to [email protected].
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers of personal information from the UK, EU or other regions.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We extend these rights to everyone who asks, wherever they live. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children
The Site and the Circle are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

The Site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
